You start this workshop with the amazing Jace Graf on Friday evening making paste paper. Paste paper is a paper decorating technique that emerged in Europe in the 16th century, primarily as a distinctive way to produce book end-sheets and covers. This is a really fun process to get us started. You will get the chance to loosen up creatively and meet your fellow participants.
On Saturday and Sunday you will be creating a traditional accordion book, but with a slight twist—it will be a two-sided accordion with two front covers, so the book will be designed to showcase two related-but-slightly-different bodies of your work. You will incorporate your photographs, artwork, poetry or anything you want into your book. It is your hand-made creation in every way. You will have the option to bring your own photographs and other images to the workshop or you can also have your images printed and waiting for you when you arrive. Upon registration we will send more detailed information about book specs, printing your book content, and tools.

We require all guests be fully vaccinated before joining any event; face coverings are optional. We strongly recommend guests wear face coverings while on shared transportation.
Booking policies
We strongly encourage guests to purchase their own travel insurance, including medical
coverage, evacuation insurance, and trip cancellation or trip interruption coverage.
Once the workshop is called a “Go”, participants will receive a notification; at this time you
may book your travel accommodations

Withdrawal 60 days prior to the start date of your workshop - 100% refund minus a $30 service fee.

Withdrawal 30 prior to the start date of the workshop - 50% refund minus a $30 service fee.
